On 7th, 8th and 9th Dec’17, Mount Carmel College invited us to not only hide books around the college campus but also to give books as reward to the winners of the various inter-collegiate competitions being organized there!
It was that time of the year when Bangalore’s prestigious college Mount Carmel hosts its popular national level cultural fest “Cul-Ah!” This three-day fest consisting of a plethora of music, dance, literature and dramatics events had students from all over the country taking part. The Book Fairies were super-excited to be their Gifting Partner this year.
The Book Fairy logo was projected throughout the campus on big screens.
25 books were hidden and awarded in this three days event by The Book Fairies.
Here’s a snapshot of the boatload of fun we had there:
7th Dec’17 – Day 1:
The power packed debating competition, JAM, and Who’s That Girl? winners were awarded books by The Book Fairies.
8th Dec’17 – Day 2:
Event called the Mystery of the Sovereign Homicide had the Book Fairies hiding books around the campus. These books had clues to solve the mystery. Winner and runner-ups were awarded with books.
9th Dec’17: Day 3:
Science War event winners were awarded books by the Book Fairies and few copies were hidden around the campus.
