Book Fairies around the UK were thrilled to celebrate the release of The Darkest Minds in the cinema, by hiding the book in public places!

Book to Film Alert: The Darkest Minds!

Today Book Fairies all over the UK are celebrating of the release of the film adaptation of Alex Bracken’s brilliant YA book – ‘The Darkest Minds’ which hits cinemas this Friday 10th August. ‘The Darkest Minds’ is the first book in the trilogy of the same name, and follows 16-year-old Ruby, a girl with special powers, who has escaped a ‘rehabilitation camp’. The novel was first published in 2012, with the second instalment ‘Never Fade’, released in 2013, and the conclusion to the trilogy – ‘In the Afterlight’ – released the following year. We do love a good young adult dystopian novel, and can’t wait to see what this story looks like on the big screen! Copies of the book have been left far and wide for you to find!
