We are celebrating in lots of ways but here is our first book fairy surprise…

Happy Third Birth-Month to all book fairies around the world! We are celebrating in lots of ways (watch this space) but here is our first surprise – a special edition tote bag đź’ś
Those who order one will also get five of our classic stickers and a birthday badge!
This is what we imagine a dictionary definition of a book fairy would be – brave, creative, modest, big hearted. We are so excited about this new tote bag! We love celebrating our birthdays with you all, and we have turned three this year – which is a big deal!
Why purple and white?
2020 marks one hundred years since women in the US got the vote.
Apart from being an awesome colour, purple is also one of the colours of the suffrage. The others are green (think we already covered this somewhere) and white, which is why we chose this colour text.
In 1908 the co-editor of the WSPU’s newspaper, Votes for Women, Emmeline Pethick-Lawrence, designed the suffragettes’ colour scheme of purple for loyalty and dignity, white for purity, and green for hope.
