It’s #IndieBookFairies day on Thursday and we’re celebrating Independent Authors by bringing you some fantastic online resources for free!
As we navigate our current lives as book fairies in isolation and try to entertain those staying at home, our community has really come through with some great ideas!
Indie illustrator Jenni Gudgeon
Indie author/illustrator/photographer/faerie friend Jenni Gudgeon has kindly donated two colouring sheets from her forthcoming book, a colouring book based inspired by her magical tale; Falkland Fables.

About Jenni Gudgeon
Jenni Gudgeon is an award winning photographic artist with a lifelong fascination in myths and legends. She’s been persuaded to write down the silly stories she dreams up for her characters while she etches their pictures into photographs. Jenni lives with her family near Folkland Wood.
About Falkland Fables:
Folkland is one of Scotland’s faerie woods. The magical inhabitants talk to you, but none of them behave like they should. The unicorns are big-headed, the troll is miserable, and will-o’-the-wisps blow raspberries at you.
Luckily this guide book has been left for you with the gnomes. It tells you everything you need to know when you first venture in the woods alone.
By turns humorous and poignant, each creature is brought to life by Jenni Gudgeon’s intricate and quirky illustrations. These are full of animals to search for, making this a brilliant gift for children of all ages.
