Book fairies in the US and Canada had the delight of hiding copies of Jessica Pan’s Sorry I’m Late… I Didn’t Want To Come in beautiful locations!
Our fairies in North America absolutely loved preparing copies of this book and finding great hiding places! From Toronto to Los Angeles, a total of one hundred copies of Sorry I’m Late, I Didn’t Want To Come by Jessica Pan were left in plain sight.
Book fairies love Little Free Libraries
Little Free Libraries are fantastic for leaving treats! These three examples couldn’t be more different, and that’s part of the joy. Do you have a little free library in your neighbourhood? The visitors to the libraries as well as the stewards love it when a book fairy has visited and they find a brand new book inside! We love mini book shares on rainy days as it’s a safe haven for the books we are celebrating.
Out in the sunshine!
Some of the states had beautiful weather today for hiding books, so these book fairies were happy to leave their books sitting out in the elements, waiting for a lucky finder! Rain and snow doesn’t put us off however, we just have to find sheltered spots at which to safely leave the books.
About the book:
An introvert spends a year trying to live like an extrovert with hilarious results and advice for readers along the way.
What would happen if a shy introvert lived like a gregarious extrovert for one year? If she knowingly and willingly put herself in perilous social situations that she’d normally avoid at all costs? Writer Jessica Pan intends to find out. With the help of various extrovert mentors, Jessica sets up a series of personal challenges (talk to strangers, perform stand-up comedy, travel alone, and much, much worse) to explore whether living like an extrovert can teach her lessons that might improve the quality of her life. Chronicling Pan’s hilarious and painful year of misadventures, this book explores what happens when one introvert fights her natural tendencies, takes the plunge, and tries (and sometimes fails) to be a little bit braver.
